leaving for Jamaica in 15 days
i am sooooooo looking forward to our do-nothing vacation. my biggest decision of the day is going to be lay by the pool or lay at the beach. we are doing Couples Negril....our first AI experience.
Re: leaving for Jamaica in 15 days
I'm so jealous.
Couples resorts are like heaven.
Have fun! Your other biggest decision is which drink you want next
We're going to Jamaica for our anniversary next month, and we knew we just wanted a lay around on the beach/at the pool vacation without any worries and to have all our food and drinks taken care of. Jealous that your trip is so close!

Normally I would be coming in here to say how jealous I am, but I am heading to Jamaica myself in 28 days, so I can just be happy for you and tell you what a fabulous time you are going to have! We are going to Couples San Souci this time after 2 times at Couples Negril. Here is my advice for Couples Negril:
1.) Take one of the orientation tours they offer. Even though the resort is small and even if you have done a ton of research on the Couples message board like I did, it still helps it all come together.
2.) Try a Miami Vice, but mix it up a bit before you drink.
3.) Order room service breakfast for your wake-up call. (You fill out a card the night before and leave it on your door with the time you want it.) It's mostly just fresh fruit (a-maz-ing fresh fruit) and pastries, but it's fun to eat on the deck and then if you want more you can go down to the buffet for second breakfast.
4.) Try some Ting!
5.) Nachos taste better on the beach.
6.) Be sure you take a pair of long pants and closed toe shoes for DH and nicer outfit for you so you can eat at least one dinner at Otaheite. (the nicer restaurant where you have to make a reservation once you get there.)
Have fun! You will have the best time!
