Good Morning!

Dang, yesterday sorta sucked.  Derek was gone from the house from 6am until 8:45pm and I just broke down.  Apparently I'm a bit starved for human contact.  And, y'know, 41 weeks pregnant and a bit of a hormonal soup.  I will, however, make today a better day!

I'm about to hop in the shower to get ready to head out to my weekly Dr's apt.  FX there's been some cervical progress there.  At this point, I'll take anything!

It's supposed to be quite warm here today, so perhaps I'll spend some time outside.

Hopefully you don't hear from me tomorrow because I'll finally be having this dang baby!!

How is everyone today?

Re: Good Morning!

  • Really hoping Chewy makes his appearance tomorrow.

Last night DH and I were going to try and spend some time together.  Fail.  Madison started getting fussy around 7 at night or so and that progressed into inconsolable wailing until probably 11pm.  I kept trying to feed her and she would fall asleep and as soon as I put her down, the wailing started again.  I do think she was having lots of gas pain so I sent Mark out for some Ovol and I think it has helped.  She pooped twice since then (she hadn't in a few days) and finally went down to sleep about 11pm.

Today Mark won't be home until maybe 5pm so I'm all on my own.  Then we have our pedi appointment at 7:30pm.  I hope since it's at night, there isn't as much of a wait so we aren't out too late.

It's supposed to be very hot here today as well but I'm hoping to maybe get out for a walk before it's too warm.

  • raynes, no offense, but I keep hoping that I won't see you on here. Vibes for a good appointment today.

Nothing too exciting with me. Last night I got in a workout, baked a cake, and did some housework and laundry. It was overall a productive evening. Tonight should be more of the same. I need to get everything ready to head out of town tomorrow after work. My FSIL's bachelorette party is this weekend so I'm preparing to go to that. Have a great day, ladies!

  • Raynes - FX for some progress at today's appointment!

Another uneventful night for me, I stopped by the grocery store and picked up a few items, made some BLT's for dinner, and headed to bed pretty early.

It's supposed to be in the 80's again today so I think I'm going to try to talk a friend into going for a short hike with me after work.

    Have a wonderful day ladies!

  • Raynes- I hope progress has been made and chewy comes out SOON! Update us on how your appt goes.

Last night was intresting. DH flooded our bathroom so we had to clean that mess up but thankfully I didn't have to cook because we had tons of left overs and because it rained baseball was rained out. After DH left for work I finally got to relax and do some clipping of coupons and watch 16 and pregnant from the last two weeks.

Ali our new puppy has been scratching like crazy and I don't see any fleas on her. I am worried she has the mange (sp?) so DH is at the vet with her now fingers crossed its nothing serious. My boys are sooooo attached to this puppy I can't imagine anything happening to her.

Tonight DH is off and I picked two tomatoes out of my grandmothers garden yesterday so he is going to cook us some bacon. I can't wait to have the first BLT of the year with fresh tomatoes.

  • C'mon, Chewy! Time to greet the world!

Happy Thursday! Last night was nice. I got home, did some grocery shopping, then had a small dinner and was writing until Josh came home. We talked for a while, then read before going to bed. I've started the last assigned book I have to read before going back to my own stuff. I can't wait--11/22/63, here I come!

Quiet over here--not a ton of work to do, so I'm polishing up a review. Should be a quiet day overall. For lunch we're heading up to the food trucks. And I'm really looking forward to dinner. Josh and I are meeting up with a friend of mine from my old job, who's going to tell me the tale on the company's implosion (they lost their federal contract as of Monday). It got crazy there in the last few months. :/

    Enjoy today, all!

  • Morning all.  Crystal and Bailey, you're making me want a BLT.  We have chicken burgers defrosting in the fridge, so that will be dinner tonight.  Raynes, FX for progress at your appointment today.

It was so nice out last night, so B and I decided to go out for dinner at one of the many restaurants with outdoor seating.  We ran into our across the way neighbors, and learned that they are expecting as well.  It's going to be awesome to have so many new kids around (there are already 2 other babies in our small complex born this year), but I am secretly dreading what it is going to be like when we try to sell our place 3-4 years from now.  I fear everyone will be trying to sell at the same time.

Today should be a fairly easy work day, but I do have a few things that just need to get done.  Tonight will be relaxing and hopefully going for a long walk if it doesn't rain.

Hope everyone has a good day.

  • raynes, fx for some progress at your appointment!

We had a good dinner last night with with a friend, but tonight I'm on my own since DH has a business dinner.  I'm hoping to make it to the gym, and then start packing for our trip.  We leave Saturday morning and we won't have too much time tomorrow since we have dinner plans.  I really can't wait to get on that plane and get away for 10 days!

  • Great, now I want a BLT - maybe I will have one for lunch after my weigh in.

Raynes - I also was hoping you wouldn't be on today.  C'mon Chewy it's time!!!

My night was great. Had a good evening playing with 2 very hyper toddlers, and they were pooped at bedtime, and went right to sleep.

Today,  Christian got sick right before we left for DC, so I left him home, and sent Zach to DC.  Well I got a call at the end of a meeting, and he is sick too. Boo.  So thankfully my mom offerred to watch them. So I just got back to my desk from picking him up and bringing him home.  Of course, now DH also has it so there is a good chance I won't be coming in tomorrow.

Well have a great day ladies, and FX for you Raynes!

Ellie had very severe mange (and a host of other issues) when we first adopted her. Does your pup have any hair loss? Ellie had bald patches all over her body, but concentrated on her face and paws.  Hopefully your dog is fine, but if it is mange she should bounce back from it just fine - it just takes a lot of meds and some time (I want to say it took about 3-4 months for Ellie's fur to completely grow back in).

    Good afternoon!

This morning I went in for an annual probing around in my lady bits.  Fun times.

Other than that, things have been pretty quiet around here.  My Thirty-One business is picking up a bit, so that's good, and Jim and I are trying to plot out some travel for later this summer/fall.  We are going to go to Chattanooga to visit Jim's brother and fiance, over to Rehoboth Beach for a weekend and hopefully up to Canada (by way of Cleveland) in the fall.  Plus, my sister wants to come up in August to watch baseball and our nephews and niece always come for two weeks in the summer.

Yes she is loosing her hair on her legs and on the top of head. It isn't that bad on her back. The vet gave her a shot and some meds and some stuff to bath her in. He wants us to bring her back next Friday and take a look at her. I hope she bounces back fine.
