FOTD (two days post TCA peel)
I did another at home 15% TCA peel. My first one was one month ago. I plan to do them monthly, which is what the directions with the peel say to do. After two or three more at 15%, I'll move to 18%.
With my first peel, I had some frosting immediately after the second layer. This time, I had no frosting at all, even after five minutes with the second layer. I neutralized after the second five minutes.
Since my last peel I've moved up to .1% Retin-A from .05%, so maybe that is why I had no frosting. I have also been using a Clarisonic Mia for about two weeks. The peeling this time is also milder. Last time I had one day where I looked so bad that I stayed in, but I'm pretty sure that today is my worst day of peeling this time, and I've been out and about. I wouldn't want to go to a special event or important meeting, but it's not so bad that I'd stay home.
Here is my face. The peeling isn't as apparent when I wear a ton of moisturizer, so that is why my face is so shiny. My face is well coated with CeraVe AM. The peeling is very much like the peel you would get from a mild sunburn. I have nothing on my face except for the moisturizer, then I have Maybelline Color Tattoo in Too Cool on my eyes, along with mascara, and used Revlon lipstick in Rose Velvet.
