BB Cream...I'm confused
I bought the Garnier BB cream today and did a little sample on half of my face. I was under the assumption that this was in place of foundation, but after seeing it on my face I think I am wrong. It seemed too greasy and like it wouldn't stay on. Is BB cream supposed to be used under foundation? Or alone, but with primer and powder to keep it on? I'm not in love yet, but it did hide my pores a lot better than Bare Minerals so I would like to figure it out. TIA.

I think it takes time to find what bb cream works for you. I can wear mine instead of a foundation, but I also can wear a foundation over it and make it work as a primer.
It's not meant to be full coverage so if that is what you are expecting, I think you'll be disappointed.
I have dry skin and it works great for me. It does not have a matte finish, even on me. If i'm doing a full face I use concealer and set it with powder (one in particular has the nicest finish for my tastes, Laura Gellar Balance n Brighten). I do not normally use a primer with it.
I use Garnier's BB cream, and my usual under eye concealer, and set it with powder.
I disagree completely! I have combo skin and I love the Garnier one. I put it on before i dry my hair, let it set, then when i'm done apply some concealer to spots necessary, add my smashbox halo powder on top, then finish the rest of my makeup. If I am diligent about keeping my hands off of my face, it looks great all day! I use a blotting sheet around 1 or 2 pm, and it refreshes my look again. I absoltely love it and my skin looks so much better!
I have alittle girl that looks exactly like Max. So cute!
