Working out at home and carpeting
I can only get to the gym 2-3 times a week, so usually another 2 times a week I just work out at home -- usually a combo of treadmill, pilates tapes, kettlebells, etc. However, my entire apartment has wall to wall carpeting except in the kitchen and bathrooms. Do you think it makes a difference that I am working out on a carpeted surface? I really have no clue.
Re: Working out at home and carpeting
Same here.
This except I have a no-shoes rule! I think it's perfectly fine. Some places I've lived had pretty good padding so it actually was fine without shoes.
No shoes can really hurt your feet even on carpet. I keep indoor shoes and outdoor shoes. Keeps my carpets clean.
