I'm so excited as we just booked it this past weekend and this will be my first time going!
For those who have been there, I have some questions. I know that we'll be making dinner reservations, but what about breakfast? Should we make reservations just in case?
And what are your must see/rides?
Sorry to post and run. I just got off of work and I'm going to bed.
TIA!
Re: Disney World!
I have been over 20 times and am leaving Saturday to head down. I wouldn't make dinner reservations for every day. Sometimes a quick bite to eat works better when you are tackling a park. I would def make some breakfast reservations. Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's are my favorite for character dining.
Let me know if you have any other questions. When are you going?

We went at this time a few years ago. Note it is one of the busiest times of year. Go see the fireworks for 4th of July at Magic Kingdom. They will take your breath away. They will do them on the 3rd as well (we went on that day). Occasionally, MK will reach capacity on the 3rd and 4th and they will start turning people away if this happens. Best bet is to get there early and plan on spending the whole day there without leaving. We were there from 9am-2am without a break!
I completely agree with Krissy about the fireworks!! They are the best 4th of July ones I have ever seen! But here's my tip: When we went during the 4th, Magic Kingdom did there fireworks on the 3rd and the 4th, so we did those on the 3rd, and went to Epcot's on the 4th, and Epcot's were equally amazing, if not even better!! But that way we got to see both park's.
And for breakfast, if you want to do a character breakfast you def. need reservations. Chef Mickey's is a lot of fun.
For dinner, I highly recommend Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The food was amazing, and great atmosphere, and the lodge is really neat. We went out to one of the observation areas afterwards and saw giraffes a few feet in front of us! Also, you can't go wrong with California Grill at the Contemporary.
I am excited for you just writing about all of this!!
Kate- We're staying at the Polynesian. I can't wait!
Krissy- Wow. 9 AM-2AM? Man, I bet DH will kind of side eye me when I mention that. But I bet it's worth it right? I know with school being out that it was going to be busy, but when we started planning this trip, it was the only week we could go.
Alissa-I'm excited with everything. Did you have to stay at Epcot all day?
JuddandJessica- Thanks!
Thanks ladies. I'm really really excited to go!
No, we weren't there all day. Epcot doesn't tend to get as busy as MK, so we were able to leave and still get back in, That was one of the other reasons that we did MK the day before.
Krissy-will you take me to Disney World? I bet you could show me the most kick ass stuff!
Have fun!
Sure! It would be lots of fun. We know our way around the place pretty well. Actually even driving around down there, we don't need a map haha.
This!
