Has an under-writer ever denied you?
after all of the doc. requests, and paperwork were satisfied?
-and for what reason were you denied, and how close to the closing date?
Re: Has an under-writer ever denied you?
OMG! I would have been PISSED!
I told her I was going to murder her. I was pretty serious at the moment. Now, I decided it would probably ruin my career. But yea, maybe it would have been funny if it was our 5th or 6th home but for FIRST TIME homebuyers we were pretty upset.
Me too! I work at the bank and probably would pick up my phone and call their boss directly to b*tch before they got the chance to tell me it was a joke. Then we'd both be in trouble. lol
What? Who does this? Maybe she has never bought a house and didn't know what it feels like? What an @ss!!
Was this person a stranger or a friend?
anyway...getting back to the original post, was anyone ever denied by the UW?
I wasn't asking you. Read the entire question, then answer properly.
I hate to break the news to you, but you're not God.
Rudeness, much?! I believe Jen is an UW. She said she denies people all the time, means that there are people denied by UW. If you want her to clarify as of why she denies them, you can ask in a more polite way.
I believe Jen is an UW.
Reeeeally? Sherlock, you don't say! I would've never guessed. Thanks, for clarifying that.
I was CLEARLY asking people who have been denied, not people with God complexes who stick their head in to make the all powerful, yet embarrassing statement "I deny people all the time.".
A lot arrogant if you ask me. no?
Read, people, read. Then post.
For other seeking comfort.

Wow. Overreact much?
Arrogant? Not really. I was saying that I have to deny people rather frequently. Not sure how that somehow got twisted into a God complex, or how that is embarrassing. But, please, make sure next time you post, you include a list of who/who not should respond. Not sure if you have some kind of issue with my job title or what, but I am come here trying to offer advice and solutions to expedite the loan process. I'm off the clock and don't really have to do this, but some nesties might find that a valuable resource. Sorry you don't.
