I'm all mopey.
For the past 2 years I've flown out to California to hang out with my WoW friends at Blizzcon. They are some of my favorite people ever. Since it was cancelled this year, we decided to just meet up somewhere and hang out for a weekend and I've been really excited to see what they planned. Today I get a message that everyone is going to chip in to rent a beach house in California in July. That would be awesome, except H will probably not be able to go and I'm 100% sure he will not be cool with my staying in a house of mostly guys (even though there are 2 other girls who are going, I totally understand that he wouldn't be comfortable with that).
I wish I could think of a way I could go that would be agreeable to both of us.

I think this is a great idea! Maybe talk to your H and see what he thinks.
Oh! Excellent idea. I'm hoping H can get on board with that, and that it won't be too expensive.
