He's really into genealogy. Has done this whole huge family history. Anyways, this morning he sends the following e-mail to the family. For some reason I get all giggly at the Jesse James part.
Frank John Ancestor was born in 1866 (146 years ago) on this date in St Louis, Missouri (the first of our family born in America). His mother was taken the next year by the cholera epidemic. This epidemic began in St Louis in 1866 and recurred in 1867. The disease was carried up the Mississippi by soldiers returning after the civil war from New Orleans. Approximately 4000 people died over this period. This was over 1% of the population of St Louis, the 4th largest city in the US. He married in 1893, in Bloomington, Illinois to Sarah Radigan. Sarah was from Bloomington. He was a postal carrier and died in 1932. He was born the year after Lincoln died, and died the year before FDR took office. Jesse James robbed his first bank in Liberty Missouri in 1866 and Butch Cassidy was born in 1866. He lived through the World's Fair, the Olympics, the depression of 1893(one of the worst in American History with the unemployment rate exceeding 10% for half of the decade), World War I(1917-1918), the Wall St crash of 1929 and first part of the Great Depression. His first wife, Sarah Radigan, died in 1904, at age 38. He married (Catherine) in 1913 when he was 47. He was the grandfather of Weldon (Christin's Grandpa). He had 4 sons and 1 daughter, including Francis Ancestor. He and his family lived most of their lives near Park Avenue, south of Chouteau and east of Grand Avenue. He died at age 66 of a heart attack.

I actually think this stuff is pretty interesting!
Although the Jesse James part is so random.
