Anybody Else Do This?
Check on houses you have previously toured to see if they have sold and the price?
I like realtor.com because they show the recent sales in the area, and sometimes I like to scroll through them to look for houses we rejected to see what they have sold for. I'm nosy like that. I recently saw that one of the house we seriously considered sold for way more than I thought it would. Good thing we decided we didn't want it!

Yes. Even now, one of the houses we loved is on the market again (it didn't sell 4 years ago), and I'm following it. We had specific reasons why we didn't offer that I stand by, but I still admire it.
I also checked up on some that we lost in multiple offer contests. One sold for less than we offered, which I was a little upset by. I realize it could've been concessions as a result of a bad inspection (seemed unlikely because the house was fairly new and in great condition), a bigger down payment, a cash offer, conventional instead of FHA financing, or whatever. It wasn't the close date, because we offered that they could pick the closing time frame. Such is life.
Another one sold for a lot over asking. Bwahaha.
