Anyone else loving Scandal (Spoilers)?
I'm really enjoying it so far. I like the characters a lot, especially Kerry Washington (though she keeps making bad decisions regarding the President).

I'm completely hooked!
Last weekend I was bored, so I went to Hulu and proceeded to stay up half the night, watching all of the Scandal episodes that had aired so far (thank goodness it was only 4 or 5), and last night I watched it almost immediately after it aired. Thanks to the magic of DVR, I never do that - it's always a day or two later when I get around to my shows.
I love, love, love it. Huck made me teary-eyed last night. I'm anxious to find out more about the backstories for each of the members of Olivia's team.
I love love love this show! It's become the one show I look forward to above all others... and I love me some television.
I'm 99% sure the president's wife is behind some of the shenanigans going on, so can't wait for it all to unfold. And how smarmy is Cyrus!? Ohhhhh, love to hate him already.
Agreed!! Especially with something she said last night, the wording of which I can't remember. But she was talking to the President, called over the two Secret Service men, and asked if they would die for the President. Then she turned to him and said something about everyone in the building being willing to do whatever it took? I wish I could remember the wording, but that's when I started to suspect that maybe she ordered the hit on Amanda.
Is there any hint as to who's else it could be?
I was really surprised that I liked this show. I really like the red head.

LLHR, I know what line you're talking about the wife having said, and I think it has a lot to do with her knowing he was having an affair with Olivia and wanting to destroy both of them in revenge.
hannamarin, right, Amanda did say those things, but it would fall in line with what I've said above, the President's wife set it all up. Amanda also said she didn't want to lie anymore to whoever she's been talking to on the phone (can't Olivia's crew figure that out?!!) I have a feeling Amanda was in on helping to take down the President at the request of his wife, so they set up this elaborate plot for Amanda to say she was carrying the President's baby, and they'd ruin his political future... don't necessarily think they counted on Olivia coming to her aid and protecting her. So Mellie Grant, Prez Fitzgerald's wife, had to change the gameplan.
I might be thinking too hard on it though!
