5 miles for cinqo de mayo?

anybody else do a celebratory fiver today?

it was drizzling and gnarly outside here, but DH and i went for it anyway.  soooooo worth it!

  • It was rainy here, too. I went out with my running group hoping for 8, but none of the slower-paced people were there today and I just couldn't keep up! I ended up doing only 5, so I guess it works out :) I'll head out solo tomorrow and try to get my 8.

  • I only got 2 miles in today because I got stuck in a torrential downpour (I know, I'm a wuss).  At first I enjoyed the drizzle, it felt great, but then the heavens opened up and I was dripping wet.  I had my iphone with me so I headed inside.  I'm planning to run 5 tomorrow instead. ;)
