We have had our Dyson DC07 Animal for about 4 years and have had it. The vacuum has had suction issues off and on, along with a failed clutch. Well last night the suction was at it again. The hose works fine but it won?t suck in the upright position. DH took it apart and nothing seems to be causing a blockage, the brush turns fine, and the filter was recently cleaned. I am going to call Dyson tonight but I was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues and maybe knows a cause we could easily fix. I am ready to throw it out and start over but it is still under warranty so I guess it is worth getting fixed. Just sucks being without a vac. While Dyson tries to get us into a local shop for a repair. Last time I was without it for over a week.

Guess what it was a cat toy. One of those feathers with a string. How in the world that was sucked up and we did not know it is beside me. I am wondering now when it happened.
