Just wanted to say hello to the board! I'm Caitlyn..live in FL, was a knottie until DH and I eloped, now I'm back, buying a new house and maybe thinking kids soon. I forgot how much fun these boards can be, so I'm glad to be back
Sorry that most of my jokes are borderline inappropriate. And by sorry, I mean you're welcome.

Re: Hello! Newbie here!
Hello, and welcome!
Hi Caitlyn!
Welcome back : )
Tell us more about yourself a.k.a your elopement story ; )
I am also pretty new to the board. H is AF and currently stationed in MS while I am in OH finishing grad school. We will be reunited after 7 very loooong months in just 39 days- but who's counting?!
Thanks for the warm welcome ladies! It feels good to be back and be able to waste time at work blogging
J- It's not really an exciting story unfortunately! We had a medium sized wedding planned in St. Pete Beach, FL....everything was good to go up until Jan 2010, when my job was frozen and our family that was so kind to help us out financially hit hard times as well (so we did not want them to give us $ knowing it would put strain on them), plus I got a "big girl" job and we relocated to north central Florida, 4 weeks before our wedding date. All in all, it turned out to be a terrible time to have a wedding, so we cancelled and planned to reschedule. As it got closer to our wedding date, H and I were so sad and didnt want to wait because really, it wasn't about a big wedding, it was about our committment to eachother, so we invited our parents only and tied the knot at the local botantical gardens. Looking back, I am so glad we did it that way. We always talk about a vow renewal at 5 or 10 years, but maybe just a European vacation instead!
