Most of you remember the car accident I was in a while ago and the back issues that ensued after ward. After seeing several doctors and doing several different treatments, I thought it was under control. It's now getting worse. My toes were tingling but I thought it was because I was on my feet all day, which I wasn't used to. But then started the reflex issues, dropping things, can't grip things all the way, spacing on simple tasks, etc. Yesterday, the tingling in my arms came back, I woke up this morning and it's my whole left arm. I thought maybe I slept wrong but I've been up and going for a few hours now and it hasn't dissipated.
So here I sit, looking through DH's insurance, later I'll dig out my CD from my last MRI and x-rays and find out my next course of action. Probably a regular doctor then another neurosurgeon. DH is aware and if I get any worse we'll consider urgent care.
So, any thoughts, vibes, juju, prayers you can spare would be awesome.
Re: *sigh* If you can spare some T&P
Oh S, I'm so sorry this is happening. Big hugs and many prayers.
I'm sorry BLT
Definite T&P!
This may sound obvious, but find a doctor that does a COMPLETE physical exam. I mean that measures your spine, actually looks at you (in your underwear) from a posterior and anterior view, measures if there are any leg and/or arm length discrepancies, checks your reflexes, has you do different neurological tests (very easy such as balancing, finger tests, etc.).
It sounds simple, but the doctor I work for does this with every new patient and at least 2-3 patients a week he finds a neurological consult candidate because no one has done a complete exam and they all think it's musculoskeletal issues.
Photo bomb, yeah!
T&Ps are with you. I hope you find a specialist who can figure out what's going on.

This!
I hope you start feeling better.
It got slightly better, tingling has gotten intermittent, it seems to get better when I'm up and moving. So I've been resting but when I start to feel it, I get up and move. I really don't think it's enough for me to go to the ER but I promise if it gets bad then I will. I have to call DH's insurance tomorrow for a list of approved doctors. Their silly website has been getting maintenance all weekend.

this! hope things are okay!
