Random restaraunt charge ques.
Do they do something where they initially charge your card with the bill total and then "redo" it to include a tip?
We went out for dinner last night and I see a pending charge in our account for the total before tip. I'm fearing that DH stiffed the waiter and hoping its some sort of glitch.

They run a preauthorization for the amount of the bill and then settle the check with the tip included.
