How about Restoration Hardware towels?
I am determined to replace our towels. I asked about Pottery Barn towels on here, and most people were lukewarm about them. How about Restoration Hardware towels? I am attracted to these brands because I could buy from them over time (as opposed to having to buy, say, 6 towels all at once). The price is near each other: PB towels are $24 and RH are $28.
Any experience with RH towels? Anyone love them?
Re: How about Restoration Hardware towels?
Oohh thanks for the feedback. I'm planning on getting white, so no bleach fears for me
I used to work for RH and I can tell you that the bleach thing is a real issue, but I have the tan color, have had them for 10 years, and I still LOVE them! When they bleach, the turn sort of a tanish color so I'm not sure what would happen to the white...
btw.. they will totally stand behind their products... If you're not happy with the quality, they will happy to exchange them, it will not be an issue.
I agree about PB towels not being good. I don't have experience with RH towels, but I hear they are fantastic. Our master bedding is from there and is really high quality too (unlike our PB bedding).
I really like our Thomas O'Brien towels from Target. Very fluffy and absorbant.
We bought DS RH towels/washcloths(as well as his bedding) when he was born and they have held up great. With that said, we LOVE our PB towels, they have held up a million times better than the Hotel Collection(Macys) towels we had before.
I'm surprised to hear all the negatives on PB, I've bought a ton of their stuff for the last 10+ years and have never had a problem with anything - their bedding/shower curtains/towels/rugs all wash and hold up great.
My sister has them and I love staying over because of how awesome her towels are. Her hand towels also got bleached from whatever product age uses, but they are still thick and super soft.
Thanks, ladies, for all of your input (keep it coming!). I am more and more convinced to buy the RH towels. I think I will start with 2 and see how I like them. Thanks!
Love them. We did white because I think any towel of color has potential for bleach spots based on various cosmetic products or cleaners getting on them.
Once a month I soak towels with a little bleach and they stay crisp white. Every guest who stays always notices their quality. With the 15% off I have started to add some of the bath sheets to our collection - love them too.
Worth every dollar IMO
Love them. We got bath sheets since my husband is 6'4 and they are awesome!
