My cousin passed away last night...

My cousin passed away last night. I do not know how or anything other then she is gone.

I am out of town, I work 3 weeks on and then have 2 weeks off. I just started my 3rd week, but I will be going home on Tuesday.

My cousin was handicapped. When she was little she came to every family event that was held and she was as much a part of the family as every one else. We used to love to entertain here with shiny earrings and other jewelry.

When she got older it was more of a strain on my Aunt and Uncle so they had to put her in a home. We still visited her at least 1-2x a month. In the last 5 years though I have not seen her at all. I am now feeling guilty for not visiting her. (I stopped going when my parents stopped "making" us go with them.)

She is the 4rd person in 2 months that I know that has passed away. I know this may sound stupid but I just want this to end. I hate funerals.

I hate being away from my family like this when something happens like this. It is just to hard. I was never close with this cousin like I am with other cousins. But I can't stop crying and I feel for my uncle who now has to barry his daughter, after his brother and father died within the last few years.

:'(
