I need help w/ my family room colors. It's so dark and dull in there! I have walls painted the 1st color.(SW Macadamia) A sofa the color in the middle...olive green. Then all dark wood furniture and a dark brown leather chair.
I need some accents - artwork, lamps, maybe some vases for the mantel. But I don't know which color to incorporate. Please to help? Thanks!!

Repaint. Seriously, i like that color - I had a kitchen that color and it was really nice.
Something bright that pops like a bright turquoise blue, hot pink, or even a yellow I think would be good.
Can I put this pillow in your room and then you can get some things that go from there?
Repainting is not an option. My family room and kitchen are all open and it took Dh and I 14 hours to paint it. And I love it in the kitchen (it looks good w/ my slightly orangey maple cabinets...tones them down a bit) and I even love the color in the family room. It's just too earthy in there.
LOVE! Where did you find this? I must pin it as my inspiration colors!!
