What rate did you lock in at? Any points? % down? Credit score? Which bank? TIA...

  • 3.75%, no points, high 700s credit score, VA loan (0% down).  We were originally going to do 10% down conventional, but the VA ended up being a better deal and product overall.  We are using a local broker.  Our banks were just unable to match the rate.

We locked at 3.375% with 2 points, credit scores just under 800 and 25% down.  Closing costs, including points (and no escrow account) ended up around 3% of our mortgage.
