Polle: What is your favorite kind of apple?
My H likes the dumbest apples. The texture of these Jonah Golds are all soft. Gross. He went out of town and left me with a bag of these things that I can't justify throwing them away or letting them rot so I'm suffering through eating them.
My favorite is Empire, followed by Crispin.
Re: Polle: What is your favorite kind of apple?
Have you guys tried Honeycrisp? I'm not a huge fan of apples but these are crisp and sweet. Got them for Little Geek and ended up eating most of them myself!
Motzie, you could make applesauce with them.

Honeycrisp, hands down.
MMMMMMMMMMMMM
True, I could. I've been slicing apples for snacks at work or in the car just because it's easier to transport and eat. Ooooh, maybe I will bake one tonight after dinner with some cinnamon. Thanks, Geek!
Honeycrisp, Gala, Red Delicious, Granny Smith
Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
Oooh, that sounds yummy!! I'll have to remember that, too! Thanks for the awesome idea!

I can never find Honeycrisps and thus, I've never had one.
Granny smith forevah

Golden delicious, although they can get soft, too. Gotta be picky. But with a dollop of peanut butter or really sharp white cheddar? mmm, da bomb.
Honeycrisp are heavenly, as well.
When they are in season here, I will seriously have to send you some. They are awesome. We always have tons here as the breed was started up here at the U of MN (I think...now I'm starting to doubt myself).
Gala. But have to be in season or their texture is grainy and mushy. Ill eat Granny Smith if I have some good xtra sharp cheddar cheese...
once you go Honeycrisp you never go back
its like a party in your mouth and everyone is invited.
Honeycrisp, then Fuji.
Hmmm, apples...
