My SIL is having a baby any day! What to bring...
I just realized that was a long title. I also mostly lurk on ML, so this is my first post.
My SIL is having a baby any day. She was actually due Saturday.
So, I have a gift for baby from a recent trip to Hawaii.
For my SIL, I made a care package (partly Mother's Day gift too). I've included:
a giant bottle of yummy smelling lotion, dry shampoo, a notebook and pen for recording feedings/diaper changes/questions for the doctor etc, a refillable water bottle, snacks, nice lip balm, sparkling lemonade that we can't get in Canada.
Anything else that is a MUST that I am missing?
I am also making meals and freezing them so her DH or her has easy stuff for awhile. I've included the side dishes also to make it easy, such as minute rice.
Is this over-kill? Am I missing something?
I don't have kids so it's not like I can draw on experience. Thanks again!
Congrats to my TTC buddy Madeline!

Snacks for the hospital. Hospital food sucks.
You're an awesome SIL.
You sound awesome.
Maybe a giftcard to Walmart or something?
lol.
But anyway, you sound awesome. My favorites were the food for after we went home. Include some breakfast stuff!
This sounds dumb, but I wanted balloons. Not one freaking balloon, either time. And with Kathryn I got flowers from my mom, that's it. It's silly, but it would have been nice.
Including breakfast foods sounds like a great idea!
To those who mentioned stuff to take the hospital, chances are she will be settled at home before we get a chance to go.
