Shoooot, I'm a stander but I accidentally voted sitter.
I like to be able to move around. Actually I use the bathroom mirror for most of my makeup, but I prefer the hall mirror for mascara and eyeliner bc I can get coser to the mirror

In high school and in college I would always sit on the floor in front of my mirror and do my make up (even though I had an actual vanity in high school).
After college, I always got ready in the bathroom, so I have to stand there.

I do that sometimes, but I justify it by turning on the news and believing that I am "staying informed" and not just being lazy.
Usually, though, I stand up in the bathroom. The ultimate goal is to get a vanity table for my closet room, but that is second to buying a bed and mattress so guests can sleep in my closet.
I actually prefer to stand and have the freedom of movement to do so (not to mention the better lighting in the bathroom), but the vanity situation was a compromise between DH and I b/c I tend to hog the bathroom, haha. He also tends to sleep in more than he wants to, so this way he is able to get up earlier since I have the lights on in our bedroom, and can go and shower right away since I'm not in the bathroom. DH was also getting fed up with me having my makeup and products everywhere and not very organized, so now its all in one place and he doesn't b!tch about it anymore, lol. Also, it takes me less time to get ready now that everything has its place and is really easy to find.
