How was everyone's weekend? Do anything exciting?
We bought a grill an had a small cook out with our parents on Sunday. I also bought the other two shades books.

Re: Weekend recap
Yay for a new grill!
Weekend was good. Got some yardwork done, ran errands and had a pretty chill weekend.

Had dinner Friday night with my mom, sister, BIL, niece, and Bridget.
Saturday afternoon/dinner with Jess, James, and Zoey
Sunday morning trip to the zoo with Jess, James, Zoey, Mel and Amelia. Sunday afternoon spent 2 hours lowering Bridget's crib since she figured out how to get on her knees and look out over top of the crib. I was getting scared that she was going to fall out.
Friday helped a friend with wedding plans while watching the TLC Friday night wedding shows. I'm such a dork- I love them.
Saturday- finished my first mini marathon. I walked it as I'd done no training at all. Stubborn Irish pride got me across the finish line. I burst into tears at the end when I realized I still had 5 blocks to walk to get to the car. I was so done at that point. Drew went and got the car and picked me up. He finished way ahead of me. We did absolutely nothing for the rest of the day. Just cuddled with the pups and went out to dinner.
Sunday- got a bunch of things done around the house. I love that feeling.

I watch TLC wedding shows too. They're addicting.
Good for you! How many miles is a mini marathon? I probably would have cried walking to the car too.
It's 13.1 miles. It took me about 4.5 hours to walk the whole thing. I'm really proud of myself for finishing.

Saturday Jay, my dad, my brother, and my 2 nephews went to the family hunting camp for the night. Cody and I went for a long walk with my niece to get some strawberries. Then late afternoon my sister and niece left for the night so it was just me, Cody, and my mom. We hung out and played with Cody. One of my cousins stopped over.
Sunday one of my friends and her LO stopped over (the pics I was tagged in yesterday that was Cody and another baby). Then the guys came back, we had lunch, then Jay, Cody, and I got home.
When we got home we found out that one of our oil tanks has a clog in the line so our furnace is not working. No heat (not a big deal now that it's warmer) and no hot water. Jay was able to clear the clog enough so that we could get enough hot water to give Cody a bath in the sink (so we didn't need a lot of water) and to wash his bottles.
We bought and returned one set of carseats then spent forevvvver finding two that would actually fit in our stupid cars. $450 later we left Buy Buy Baby (after first going to BRU twice).
Sunday we fought. I was happy to see the weekend end.
What kind of carseat did you end up with? I keep delaying the inevitable.
Sorry you fought. Rob and I had a fight last night and went to bed mad. Who knows what today will be like.
