Need ideas!!

Ive been married for about 6 months and am going to nursing school and i work 40-50 hours a week at night.  My husband has been completely understanding of my crazy schedule, never complains about me not being around as much as we would like and helps me out around the house.  He recently went back to get his paramedic certificate and I am currently on summer break.  I want to do something to thank him for all of his support and to try and make the most of what little time we have to spend together.  I need ideas for a date/something to do for him that doesn't cost a whole lot of money.  My husband is into pretty much everything especially outdoorsy things.  I thought about doing a picnic in one of the local parks but I was hoping to get more ideas....

Re: Need ideas!!

  • Can you take a weekend and go camping? It's still pretty cheap and he gets more of the outdoors stuff that he likes.  I don't know about your guy but I don't think H would be all that excited about a picnic in the park, I feel like that's more of a girls idea of something romantic and fun....unless you're bringing along something to do in the park like a frisbee/football/bocce ball...something.

  • Does he like sports? I would probably take him to a baseball game or take him out on a day cruise if the weather is nice.
