What are you doing for your Mom or MIL for Mother's Day?
I'm in desperate need of ideas for my MIL. We are going out to lunch with them Sunday but I need to do some sort of gift too. Thoughts?
And I can just share how wonderful E is? I was having a rough morning yesterday missing my Mom and Mother's day coming up is making it worse. Anyways he told me I should buy her a card anyways and just keep it. I think we decided on buying a rose bush that I want, and putting it in the yard.

Nada. I doubt we will be leaving the house that weekend. They can come to us if they really want. They still aren't getting more than a card.
And E deserves a big hug. Very sweet. (Or a bj. Your call.)
MIL is getting a card and GC to a local ice cream shop and my mom is getting a card and Starbucks GC. If we lived closer we'd probably do brunch or something.
I think getting a card for your mom is a very sweet idea. Maybe write something inside that you did this year in her honor or that she would have enjoyed.
I think I'm just sending out cards to my mom and stepmom. I might make a handprint bouquet from the girls. But other than that...a phone call?
My mother is Satan's wingman, so nothing for her, but I'll likely treat myself to a massage or other spa service.
I like E's card idea for your mom.
I am sending her a card. I can't send much more than that, because her roommate is sensitive to flowers and my mom can't chew chocolate without choking.
My dad and sister may have some plans though. :-)
My mom wanted an iTunes gift card, so I got her that and also an America's Test Kitchen cookbook. She loves to cook, and has had the majority of her cookbooks since I was a kid, so I thought it'd be fun to get her some new recipes.
MIL doesn't get anything but the grandmas in our families are all just getting cards too.
LOL I don't know how you can top that next year.
