F/U to 'Help me shop'
So the service got pushed back to yesterday. I found a darker blue dress that was high enough in the neck line (for $15 at TJMaxx! - SCORE) and wore a dark grey cardigan. I was super nervous I'd be under dressed (because the dress was cotton), but once we got there I'm sure my face was like

Don't mind the dog and for whatever reason the picture won't rotate.
A lot of his friends wore motorcycle jackets and jeans (understandable and I guess the wife wanted them to be very casual). But some of the other military wives that showed up I was definitely side eying. There were a handful of LBD that I would imagine at a club or maybe dinner. And holy hooker shoes!
I just wonder what what goes through their head when they look in the mirror the last time? "Yes, this dress that I can't bend over in and keeps riding up is perfect for a military service".

And I don't know why in that picture my dress looks purple. It was about the shade of H's dress blues.
