Had my first softball game last night ;)

I kicked butt at first place position!!! Only because there was a guy (one of the pitchers) on the team nice enough to practice and coach me to play well in-between the innings. (Yes, he was cute!)

We didn't win but it was fun fun fun! The other team only had 2 girls and the guys were pretty advance for a recreational team but winning wasn't the point.

This is major improvement from practice the other day where I fell flat on my butt trying to swing the bat. hehe!

Nice! You must have shown some promise in practice, though, because usually new people get stuck out in right field, since the ball rarely gets hit there. But they started you at first, which is a key position! Great job!

I feel really good about this. It is a personal goal of mine to do the best I can and not let my fear get the best of me since I never played a team sport before. I think others can tell I was driven to try my best and I took every advice they gave me seriously.

Next week Monday! We don't have practice this week so I am hoping to find some friends and practice on personal time.
