Selling a fur coat?
I have a fur coat that someone gave me and I will never wear it. I have no idea what kind of fur it is, and I would like to sell it but I have no idea where to begin! Are there places that will take a look and tell me what it is, how much it's worth, etc? I'd rather not do consignment since they take 40%, I'd like to try and sell it myself but I don't know where to begin!

I would just start calling around to fur stores to find out if they do appraisals.
Do you know anything about it? It has no labels in it whatsoever?

Good idea, don't know why I didn't think of it.
No labels. It was apparently custom made for the woman who gave it to me, but I don't talk to her anymore and she never told me what kind of fur it was.
I've done a little googling but a bunch of sites come up that aren't local, and I really think someone needs to see it to make an educated appraisal. I literally have no information on it.
