Atlantic City recommendations?
We're going to AC this weekend with 7 friends to celebrate DH's 30th birthday and I'm looknig for suggestions for low-key activities for those of us who are non-gamblers, and any affordable restaurants you might recommend. We're staying at Harrah's... TIA!
Re: Atlantic City recommendations?
The Pool at Harrah's is supposed to be a great place to hang out. The Walk outlets are at the edge of the AC Expressway. You can walk the boardwalk, shop at the Pier
For restaurants there are plenty of places to go. I prefer the restaurants outside the casinos for really good, affordable food, however I live here so it's easy for me to say that LOL
Angelo's fairmount Tavern on Fairmount Ave is unbelievably good Italian food. My favorite place, hands down
Los Amigos has great Mexican food. It's by Caesar's (a couple spots away from Nautica at the Walk) It looks like a narrow dump on the outside but the food is so good
Tony's Baltimore Grill by Tropicana is really good
And if you want super low key casual food you should hit the Cafeteria at Borgata's Water Club. It's like an upscale food court that has Tony Luke's Cheesesteaks, Fat Burger, Lettuce Head, Ben and Jerry's and a few other places.
Some of my favs! I can't wait to go home in July!
There are a lot of restaurants in the Quarter at the Trop as well. The ones mentioned by Trish are local favs, though.

Buddakan is next door and very good. For Italian, chef vola's. Also any restaurant that Luke Palladino is head chef at. I know he is at hurrah's but he may be at revel now too. He has a little place in a town that's not in AC but you need a car to get there.

I grew up going to Baltimore Grill! It is a classic. My parents grew up in the Duck Town section of AC so it's the local establishments that I tend to flock to.
I forgot to mention White House Sub Shop. It's actually famous. Been on lots of tv programs and frequently visited by loads of celebrities. The place is super small and be prepared to wait in line but it is worth it
YUM! One of my favs as well.
My parents, as well as myself, grew up in Brigantine.
