Thoughts on this maxi dress?
I've been looking for one that that is wearable (with a sweater/white blazer over it) to work this summer, but I'm not sure this will work for that. I've pretty much fallen in love with it, but if I can't wear it to work, I'm not sure I can justify the purchase!

I like it a lot and with the 25% off today, it's pretty decently priced, comparable to others.

I love the dress, but there's no office or profession for which I could picture this being an appropriate garment. Even with a blazer (not that they'd go together).
My feeling is that a maxi dress is for socializing, not for working; but if your heart is set on a maxi for work, buy a well-tailored maxi with an appropriately modest neckline.
Its a little tent-like for my taste. Something slightly more fitted would be my preference in anything striped like that.
This would definitely not be appropriate for most work environments unless very casual. For example, as a research assistant at a university, I could wear something like this to work if I am staying in the office, but not if I'm out in the field. This would not work for my other job where I'm seeing clients.
