DD, my future fiber crafter
I went to a yarn dyeing class yesterday, and brought my yarn home to soak and dry. DD was obsesssed with touching it in the water bath,
This morning it was the first thing she asked for. She proudly helped me lay it out on the deck railing to dry.
I can't wait until she asks for knitting needles.

Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

I think I'm going to start Gabe knitting this summer- he really is interested, and I think he's ready. I plan to do a bunch of dyeing while he's out of school, too- I still have lots more of that undyed 10 skeins for $20 we all got a few years back! LOL
How did the dyeing class go? Which methods did you all use? I think my favorite is still the crockpot- I just love all the soft variations I can get that way.
So nice to see the next generation of crafters coming up
I want more details about the class too, Dr.L. Where did you take it?
