Today has been so full of SUCK
I was very hopeful about finding housing for a client today. She's in her late 70's and took over the care of her grandchildren when her daughter died suddenly from asthma complications 
Anyway, they need housing as they are in a temporary placement. I took her to see a place today that I lined up with the landlord last week. The place is FAR from where she lives now so my appointment with her took about 3 hours round trip.
She loved the place. It is in her price range. I called the landlord to tell him it is a go and he said he rented it to another person!! WTF??
I'm so upset. I don't even want to tell her!
This sucks so bad. It is REALLY hard to find places given the prices these clients must stay within.
I could cry over this for real.
Also, my washing machine was acting like an idiot earlier. I almost kicked it! It is barely a month old!
And another thing, a friend lost her father suddenly over the weekend. I plan to go to the wake tomorrow if I can get a sitter.

That is full of suck. It's great that you care so much for your clients.
Sorry about your friend's loss.
I agree. I told him last week that she does not drive and I would have to take her Mon or Tues to see the place. A call would have been much appreciated.
