How was everyone's day yesterday? any plans for today?
Last night was a LONG night. We have been having problems with P climbing out of his crib and all of the sudden he hates it. We think its because he doesn't sleep in a crib at daycare anymore for about 2 months he has been on the "cot" type thing at daycare which is similiar to a toddler bed. So we are attempting to make the switch. It went okay, but I think its going to be a few weeks before we really figure it all out.
Jordan has baseball practice tonight. I am hoping that makes P extra tierd and he actually falls asleep in the bed and not the floor tonight haha.

Re: good morning!
Good morning. Yesterday was alright didn't do too much because I didnt feel to well.
I confronted a friend about leaving her 19 month old home alone while we went on what I thought was going to be a walk around her block but turned out to be a 30 minute half mile away walk and she has made me feel like the bad guy in the whole thing. I really had a good time and I need to get Edmund around other kids but I'm hesitant to do another play date with her after this.
Today we are going to go for a walk and then this evening to a local pub to watch the Sounders match.
Yesterday I went out to see a public health nurse at the health unit for more breastfeeding help. It turns out she will sometimes latch well, but then loses the latch as we go. They always pull down her lower chin to fix the latch but I can't do that and she ends up unlatching when I try to do that. She said that's ok, just unlatch and relatch her. It's just frustrating because sometimes it's hard to tell her latch got worse during the feed since she's still swallowing.
She got up at 12:30 to nurse and then again at 3am. The 3am feed was horrible. She ate and then was wide awake and would not go back to sleep. I ended up awake with her until 4:30am. I know this isn't that bad and some people experience this every night with such a young baby but this was brand new with her. I'm so tired today.
Hoping to get her into my Baby K'Tan today and see if she tolerates that. Otherwise I'm laying on the couch with her on my chest all day (that is when she isn't eating, screaming or rooting like she wants to eat even though she unlatched herself and won't open wide enough to feed). I love my baby, I love my baby, I love my baby.
Sounders, I think you did the right thing. Someone has to get her thinking.
Beth, hope today is better!
Good morning. Uneventful night last night; we ended up skipping the gym, but made sure to have a light dinner to make up for the lack of burned calories. I think we're both in a workout rut--I'm going to start New Rules of Lifting for Abs soon, I'm tired of my cardio-only routine. And hopefully Josh gets cleared to lift heavy again (shoulder problems
).
Today is another quiet day (must savor these). After work, I plan on hitting the co-op for some groceries, then going home to finish a book that I'm reading for the author intro I'm doing. Josh will be home late tonight, but I plan to have taco fixings ready for him when he gets home.
Hope everyone has a nice day.
Good morning. today is dreary and rainy. I also have an installation which will really suck doing it in the rain.
Yesterday though was fun. We went out to dinner for Dh's Birthday. Then I crashed early because I got up super early.
Operation Pincushion is under way. It wasn't fun, but I've had worse things than that done to me. Jim did a pretty good job, but I think the shot should be lower and more outside next time.
In other news, K-mart has the worst customer service ever. Our microwave died and I ordered a new one from K-mart to pick up at the store. I called this morning to see if it was ready and was on hold for 20 minutes, only to be disconnected when the train went under ground. When I got off, I called back and had been on hold ten minutes when Jim called to say that he had picked it up. I need to call back and complain, but I'm afraid it would take all day to get to a store manager.
I think the phone interview went alright. The salary is close, so with the right benefits/work environment it could work.

Glad to hear the interview went well and I'm hoping you get it and that it's perfect.
Sounders - I can't believe she would leave a child that young alone for any amount of time. I think you did the right thing by bringing it up to her.
Good morning! The luncheon I went to yesterday was great and really inspirational. It was for a organization called The Bean Project that helps women who have been in prison transition into become productive members of society. They teach them life skills and different job skills and even help them get certifications to do an assortment of jobs. In the end if they graduate the program they also help place them with employers. Several women got up at the luncheon and told their life stories, some of them had the most horrible unimaginable pasts you can think of and now they are clean of drugs, working, and taking care of their families.
Since I missed a few hours of work for the luncheon I ended working until almost 6:30 (got home around 7:00) so we had a quick dinner and relaxed for a bit. Tonight may be the same, I'm staying late at work to witness a will so probably another quick dinner and relaxing.
Rx - Hang in there. I know it is frustratrating and tiring. You are doing great!
Sounders - Really? Who does that? I can not believe she would leave a child that young alone! You are doing the right thing!
Rebann- good luck with the interview, I hope it all works out in your favor. I love the "pincushion" reference.
Crystal - Good luck with the transition!
My night was nice. Had a nice dinner with DH and the boys, starting writing up my answers to the internal application I will be submitting, and then hit the sac.
Tonight, DH has to work, so it will be a crazy night getting everything ready for DC tomorrow by myself. Then I plan on laying in bed early, and just keeping my feet up. It's been a long couple of days at work.
Have a great day ladies.
