Yeah. They got a lot of email complaining so they decided to change it back. Hopefully the members will come back, but unfortunately they seem to like their new board.
I for one, do not like it so I will be keeping my happy self right here!
They only did it because everyone flew the nest to the proboards. But while they are okay, I still prefer the nest.
I heard the nest lost about 40% of traffic when they switched.
That's one heck of a hit.
those numbers were skewed. That was posts not traffic. So posts were down (duh we couldn't post and a lot was getting deleted)
but actual traffic wasn't down by much. (comparable to Christmas. or a long weekend)
I prefer this too. It seems like a lot of people are staying over there though so I am have to check in on both boards.

What I don't get is that one of the things people complained about the new format here was that the title of the post was included in every response, but that's how it is on proboards and suddenly it's ok?
I have a feeling people will eventually come back anyway.
*shrug* I feel like it was just a big ol tantrum. While frustrating I knew they would work out the kinks or switch back. Just needed to give it time. But hey, it seems everyone jumping over there made an impact. I just hope they come back. I will miss seeing some of the regulars. I glanced at proboards just to see what everyone is talking about and I really don't like it...and I don't care to jump back and forth.
I'm not switching, seems so temper-tantrum-like to teach TN a lesson and head over to the proboards which aren't impressive to me anyway. I mean really, like they wanted to screw with us...obviously they were trying to make some changes with good intentions but it turned into a big ol' catastrophe here! Anyway, TN has many good memories for me, so I'm staying...
