I'm kinda thinking baked mac & cheese, but I don't know if that's too rich. ..

  • Those look delicious! The first idea that popped into my head was some sort of buttered egg noodles. I'm sure someone else has a better idea though. Also some steamed broccoli just because I love it (with some olive oil on top).

Can you tell I'm ready for lunch?

  • Maybe a pasta salad? I am a big huge fan of barefoot contessas pasta pesto and peas. It's easy peasy (I used store bought pesto) and delicious. It's best served room temperature. Sooooo good.
  • I thought of something else (also Barefoot Contessa, thanks Mary!))--orzo salad with roasted vegetables and feta cheese. It's a favorite in our house.

  • i did not look at the recipe but thought of french fries.  i'm healthy
  • I would say roasted potatoes, spaetzel or some type of rice and a green veggie like broccoli or brussel sprouts.
  • Spinach - either creamed or saut?ed with garlic/olive oil Brussels sprouts with butter and almonds Green beans/green bean casserole Personally, I'd probably go with something green over Mac and Cheese.

oh - yeah, veggie goes w/o saying. ...

I might make spinach souffle - I just needed a starchy thing too.  The pea and pesto thing made me think of maybe doing a pea & parmesan risotto.

Ah, gotcha. A risotto would be nice - Parmesan and asparagus or even pesto risotto. Or roasted potatoes like pp suggested.
