What are you up to this weekend?
Re: TGIF!
Tomorrow is Somerville Sampler Day - all of the restaurants downtown give out samples and the stores have sidewalk sales. A bunch of my friends and MIL are coming to go.
Sunday is my cousin's bridal shower.
Should be a fun weekend!
Kate's Recipe Box || Relatively Bookish
We're going on a little road trip down to Wilmington, NC this weekend. We still have no hotel or anything. Hopefully we'll book one today. I have no idea what we are going to do there, we went once before a few years ago while visiting friends, but all we did was walk around downtown and have dinner. T wants to see the battleship (oh joy, have I mentioned we've already been on 2 Iowa Class battleships and they are all very similar?), I just want to make sure I get some boneless wings with blue cheese and of course my requisite ice cream. Can you tell what baby is craving lately?
Today - I need to do laundry here at the hotel (yay for free HE washer and dryer!), I may go over to the Exchange and look for baby stuff, and I might make a trip to Motherhood and exchange the unopened pack of underwear I bought. Explain to me how I used to wear a size 6 (small) and Motherhood says buy your prepregnancy size, yet I buy the medium underwear, sizing up, and they still feel tight?!
Haha, oh underwear. Motherhood always has funky sizing for me...I would be a large in one thing and a small in another.
I wore hanky panky undies throughout. Thank God for one size undies... I was way too cheap to buy any maternity ones!
Today: Working, then DH and I are going to do the workout we skipped this morning after we decided we'd rather sleep in, haha! Then, date night. Not sure what we're doing...maybe dinner and/or a movie?
Tomorrow: Our town is having a cupcake festival, so we'll be going to that. I'm also on call for work, so probably not too much else.
Sunday: Bridal shower for one of my close friends. I'm a BM, so I'll be going early to help set up, and staying late to help clean up, so that'll probably take up most of the day.
Tonight: Engagement party for our friends
Tomorrow: Errands, house cleaning and lots and lots of yard work.
Sunday: morning we have a breakfast party for Matt's cousin who ran the marathon and has another race Sunday morning (she just left her fiance who she has been with for like 6 or 7 years so they are trying to do some fun stuff for her - understandably). After that more yard work.
Maggie's party is next Sunday and the rain has put us behind on getting the yard cleaned and the pool opened. Hopefully the gorgeous weather this weekend will help us catch up!
It's a long weekend here this weekend. B has meetings for work all weekend in the city so Mackenzie and I are home alone. We don't have much planned. My sister's baby is due on the 23rd, but she was 4 cm on Tuesday and has been having contractions on and off since then so I'm hoping the baby comes soon!
I think we will go out to my friends on Saturday for a BBQ and a visit.
Hopefully the meetings will finish early and B will be home on Monday. If he is we are going to have a friend's daughter babysit for a couple hours so we can go for lunch and get some "alone time".
Today-trying to nurse my shoulder. Had a display fall on me and a co-worker today. Sandwiched my shoulder between two displays. I said about seven hundred expletives. With customers in the show room. Tonight Jon and I are going to dinner for some tenderloins. Yes!!
Saturday-picking up the rental car and trying to make it to 3:00, heading to NORTH CAROLINA!!
Sunday-driving to Myrtle Beach and enjoying our first day of vacation!!
Today - My parents are on there way here with my youngest five siblings. So I'm excited to be able to spend time with them!
Tomorrow - Quick stop in a John's grandma's and say hi to H's cousins from AB that are here, and spending the rest of the day with my family.
Sunday - Taylina's baptism, and more time with family!
Should be a great weekend!

My Blog
Tonight is my baby brother's graduation! I can't believe he's graduating...
Tomorrow is errands, cleaning, and date night.
Sunday is church and relaxing.
YAY, I can post again!
Tonight: DH is DJing out of town so I'll probably either rent The Vow off On Demand, or I may get together with some friends.
Tomorrow: Get a passport picture taken and stop by a baby/children's yard sale thing in the morning that is held every year at my old high school. DH and I will probably walk the dogs in the afternoon and enjoy having a lazy Saturday!
Sunday: No plans other than laundry and dinner at my parents' so far.
Tonight- not much really. Just some cleaning and laundry.
Tomorow- first birthday party for my friends daughter. Should be fun!
Sunday- either a trip down the shore or to the lake. The weather is supposed to be beautiful so we def want to spend our time outside.
Btw- so happy this format is back!
I'm soooo glad it's the weekend! That felt like a long week!
Im out of town all weekend visiting an old friend from college. We went out for a long dinner last night and hung out at her house. Today we are going to an art musium and possibly a concert. Yay for a girls weekend!
Yesterday, we just got back to MD from closing on our house in Pittsburgh!!!
Today we have a pain management class from 1-3 (I'm hoping this doesn't cause me more anxiety about labor & delivery!) Then we are going Ian's cousin's house for a BBQ with the family that lives in this area.
Tomorrow we have nothing planned, but we are planning on finishing baby laundry, packing diaper bags, finishing cleaning of the guest room, etc. so we are ready for visitors when the Little Lion decides to make his/her appearance.
I am really late to this post but it has been beautiful here. Yesterday we were at the lake all day it was 89 out. Then today (saturday) we spent the day at the lake again haha.
Sunday is my birthday so its a family day.
