As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

And that is exactly why I'm NOT on the Facebook group. I like the anonymity of the nest. I don't feel like there is any on Facebook. I'll be staying here with Kimberly. And, besides, I can get on here from work, but can't get on Facebook.
P.S. I'm sad my announcement disappeared. :-(
I can't believe ALL the posts were killed! I mean, really, they couldn't port over that database information? Maybe it was a speed over full transition in an attempt to appease the masses? Whatever.
So I can't post from work, but I can see, so I'm still around. I just don't have much to say when I get home!
I'm really excited about you getting closer to the end Kimberly. And I think you should repost your announcement on here Susie!
I also don't like the lack of anonymity on FB. Sure, my conversations are hidden, but I've always been pretty vague on details on purpose here. I don't like my last name being out there since it's so unique. I have no problem meeting new friends, but new people were added pretty readily and I don't know them from Eve. (No offense newbies- I'd like to meet you and be totally awesome friends- just you don't need to know my crazy last name until then!) So yeah, I'm still around!
The jacked-up format boards were hosted by an outside vendor. I assume all the posts under that format are gone because they were on the vendor's servers and the knot/nest returned to hosting the boards in-house. I'm guessing the vendor didn't part on amicable terms.

I do miss The Nest board for the anonynimity and was definitely nervous about posting on FB, but I guess I got over it. There are a ton of people I don't recognize, but I assume it's because most of them are from way back before my time and I am probably one of the people they are leery of
I like to check back here from time to time, though. It is nice to see updated kiddo pics and I do miss my ticker, since there aren't signatures on FB.
How random that one old post from Feb is still here.
