Has anyone gotten a driver in the wine country before and if so, what was the average cost for 2 people? We will arrive in Napa Sun and then in Sonoma area Tues (2 nights in each). I doubt we will get a driver each day but thinking at least twice.

Re: Sonoma/Napa Driver Costs
We paid like $240 with tip with Beau Wine Tours, but this was a few years ago. It covered 4 hours. I'd count on at least $250-$400, depending on how long you want the driver for. I think $45-$60 an hour with a 4-5 hour minimum is the usual. There is one company that will drive your car for like $30 an hour with a 3 hour minimum.
We're headed there next week and decided to just drive ourselves, but we're spring for a driver to dinner one night. That's going to be $45 each way with Black Taxi Tours.
We too paid about $300 for 4 hours. Most of the drivers I found in my research considered themselves more than "just drivers". They can be quite knowledgable about the wines and wineries, so they can guide you in deciding which wineries to visit. Plus, some of the drivers can get you into tastings that aren't open to the general public.
