What would you do if your friend girl got arrested four days before her wedding? I feel sooo sorry for her. Any advice for the two of them...
Re: What would you do?
..Don't get arrested?
That sucks but I never understood acting out to the point of getting arrested.
That is assuming these are actually good cops and not the bullshit cops that have been popping up in the news lately.
She was not acting out. She is being faced with a serious crime. FI didn't know she was doing illegal tender
I would do absolutely nothing.
She did something illegal. Per your vague post it had something to do with "tender", which makes it a Federal Crime (that's the Secret Service's preview I think, unless Homeland Security took it overm either way these are not people you mess with).
You have to be REALLY stupid to NOT know that this is a serious crime, so i wouldnt want to be around criminals like that. and if she really IS that dumb, I don't want to be around her either.
If she is a good friend, If she is going to be out (on bail, whatever) before the wedding in time to get married, I would ask her what needed to be taken care of before the wedding - such as picking up things, etc.
I'm not a fan of asking "is there anything I can do?" Offer to help her in ways you realistically can and are willing to. For example, if you can make some phone calls for her, run some errands, etc..great.
you do the crime you do the time......
do nothing.
