As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

my wife and father are like oil and water
my wife and father do not get along. there are times when they get along, but they get along only for me. but my dad will do something that will get my wife mad. I think it is not a big deal but my wife will still get upset. at times she is justified. when we are all together I just hope nothing is said that will get someone mad. I'm in the middle and do not know what to do. I try to keep the peace but this has been going for 26 years. but the bottom line I think their personalities are like oil and water.

If anyone disrespects my wife, I'll step in. If someone just doesn't get along with her, that's between the two of them and I stay out. If somebody really pisses her off, it's every man for himself and I run for cover. She's a big girl, so I let her take care of herself.
I agree with this. Let them handle their issues unless it gets really out of hand. You shouldn't be constantly trying to play peace maker between them. That's too exhausting. If they're going to bicker a little, it's going to happen regardless of what you do, so just try not to worry about it.
