Need Vacation Ideas from Cincinnati to ?
DH and I are off June 9-17 and looking to do a small getaway. We are going to Florida in July, so no to Florida. We live in Cincinnati. We could drive or fly. Would like to keep it under $1000 for hotel and possibly flight. Any ideas? We are single. Both like going out to eat and relaxing.

Hi. I just moved from Cincy to Minneapolis. What about driving the Blue Ridge Parkway?

DH and I did this two years ago. First we drove to Gaitinburg, TN and spent two days and then we drove the Parkway for three. We got in the Parkway just south of Gaitinburg and drove it as far as Lexington, VA. You can stop and do hikes. There are quaint and less $ family-owned hotels just off the Way. You could stop in Lexington, VA. etc.
We found it relaxing if you like car rides.
Chicago - sooo much to see!
St. Louis - lots of free city activities and the zoo has 2 new baby lion cubs!
Myrtle Beach - not sure if you want 2 beach vacation spots
San Antonio - love their Riverwalk!
