What good movies have you seen lately?

I need to add some to my library list.

I just watched Young Adult with Charlize Theron.  I wanted to like it based on the previews but had to stop halfway through because I just couldn't get into it.

ETA: I have My Week With Marilyn, J.Edgar and The Vow on my request list.

In the last month I have seen more movies than I have all of last year!

Miracle (about the 1980 hockey team)
The Avengers (didn't think I would like, but did)
The Five Year engagement (great chick flick)

We watched the Iron Lady over the weekend. Excellent.

We rented Beautiful Boy, but never got around to watching it and returned it (too heavy a topic).

The Descendants. Very sad, but powerful performance by the daughter.

    Tower Heist. Funny, mindless comedy.

The Mighty Macs. It was filmed locally! Well done, not too Disney-fied.

Young Adult. Thought it would be a little more comedy, less dark, but it was a great performance. Especially Patton Oswalt.

Adjustment Bureau. I like Emily Blunt and it was a fast movie.

London Boulevard. Very dark, did not end the way I thought it would. Great performance from Colin Farrel.

Drive. I love anything with Ryan Gosling. It was a very quiet movie, which built up some intense suspense.
