Any favorite second hand furniture stores?

I'm trying to find a few accent tables on the cheaper side to update for our house.  Any local second hand furniture stores in the Severn/Columbia/Annapolis area?

Craigslist intimates the daylights out of me! There are too many posts each day to sift through and I'm always scared of some crazy out there trying to lure people to them.   Go ahead laugh all you want! I brought pepper spray with me last month when DH and I bought a treadmill off of someone!

  • I've heard Echoes and Accents in Annapolis is good but I've never been in there personally:

I have purchased stuff from there.  Some old, some new.  Somewhat over priced on some stuff.  The longer stuff is there, the cheaper it becomes.

  • I've been to Echo's and Accents a few times, it can be hit or miss.  They have a ton of stuff, all good quality, but it can start out kind of pricey, but like Amber said the longer it's been there the lower the price, the tag shows the dates that the prices drop.  My mom has a few larger pieces from E&A and it really is very quality furniture.  I've also hit up a few estate sales that I've gotten some good, unique end tables and chairs from.  If you google empty nest estate sales in Annapolis/Edgewater, they have a blog that they post pics for upcoming sales, there is one this weekend that looks like it might have some good stuff. There is also one I've been to in West Annapolis, it's a high end consignment shop, but I can't remember the name.  I think yellow pages might have it.
