Favorite ethnic cuisine? H and I just had Indian food - it's climbing the charts on my list of favorites. The fish masala tonight was insane.
If you had to blow $1k right now, what would you buy/do? (No paying off debt/saving.) I would spend it ALL at West Elm. I am so obsessed with that store. I love just about everything they sell.
Do you believe in an afterlife? If so, what's it like? I know - ridiculous poll question.
I'm unsure about it, myself. The realist side of me tends to think the light just goes out, and that's that. But the spiritual side of me definitely feels there has to be *something*. I'm always interested to hear people's opinions.
Favorite flower? Peonies.
Best movie you've seen recently (old or new)? We watched 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' last night, and it was pretty good. I love Steve Carell.
Anything you're looking forward to this week? I'm looking forward to the weekend. My mom has been having some minor health problems recently, so I'm going to go home and hang out with her. Maybe do some shopping, have a little girl time. My parents live 2+ hours away, so I rarely get to hang out with just my mom anymore. I miss it.
Favorite ethnic cuisine? I can't decide between Ethiopian or Guatemalan, but I am proud of myself because a couple of years ago, I probably would have said "Mexican" and meant Tex-Mex.

Best movie you've seen recently (old or new)? We are all big fans of Howl's Moving Castle. The kids watch it all the time on Netflix.
Anything you're looking forward to this week? H and I are going out on a date Saturday night to hear some great live music, and then Sunday I have a family get-together that I am really looking forward to.
Favorite ethnic cuisine? I'm with Wendy--sushi is my fave. We've also been hitting up the Mediterranean restaurants a lot.

Do you believe in an afterlife? If so, what's it like? Yes--I believe in Heaven. Bright colors & puffy clouds & familiar faces. Or at least I hope that's what it's like.

Best movie you've seen recently (old or new)? Wizard of Oz...even better that my 17month old nephew was enamored with it while watching it with me. He was not a fan of the floating head wizard and green faced guards, but no problem with flying monkeys.

I imagine it like a big party - where we get to hang out with Jesus, hang out with friends, see people who died before us and worship Him.. forever. Honestly I think it will be so amazing that our human brains can't even begin to imagine how amazing it will be.
