Pinterest tries
Can you tell I am determined to get this board moving a little? Anyway, most of us are on Pinterest I believe. Sooo, whore yourself out. What have you made that has worked and what was a trainwreck? I'm mostly using it for recipes myself, but I've got an idea for DH's Father's Day gift from there. I'll post links in a bit.

I found a few cute ideas for Anna's party on there, mainly just cake designs and some decor stuff.
I keep saying I am going to make a Tried It board for all the recipes I found on there but just havent gotten around to it yet

I've pretty much stopped using Pinterest when it got to be too popular and the spammers moved in. I'll still pin things from websites that I want to remember from time to time but I never brows the site anymore. Sad, I liked Pinterest a lot.
I feel the same way. Plus they don't have a good app for the iphone or ipad and that's a huge turn off to me now adays.
I still use Pinterest occasionally, but I have gotten 3 Trojan viruses from it
( It actually crashed my SIL's computer.
I made the newborn shadow boxes. I just realized it has my last name visible in the box and im too lazy to edit it out. If you are my FB friend they are in my mobile uploads.
Please share the recipe when you get a chance. I'm not on Pinterest.

I mainly use Pinterest from my phone so I've been lucky enough not to have a virus yet (I'll be backing up my laptop tonight though, now that you mention it).
I've made a TON of recipes and have a Pins I've Tried board. Some are:
Crockpot Chicken and Quinoa (link) I liked this and it was my first time having quinoa. I think it was a good way to try it. I couldn't find thyme so I used TJ's 21 seasoning salute (which is my crack)
Bacon and egg toast cups (link) This was great for a quick breakfast, although I wanted to eat about a dozen of them. I scrambled the eggs.
Lemon Raspberry Cake (link) This was delicious! It stayed moist and fresh for a few days. I only wish that I had let the batter rest for longer like the recipe calls for because the raspberry sunk to the bottom. I only let it rest for about 10 minutes.
I've made the Deen Bro's Lighter Than Tastes like Lasagna Soup (link) more times than I can count to have for lunch during the week.

just kidding. i actually have tried one recipe. it was a big hit both times i made it, but the rice does absorb too much liquid if you let it sit too long.
