I have a D&B purse I bought in 2006 from Macy's, I still have the receipt. I used the purse sparingly and it looks awful! The leather is stained and discolored. I've emailed the company . . .any thoughts or experience on what they may/may not do?

    Not sure. Guess I am just shocked that the bag has aged like it has, I never would have expected that. Especially since I didn't use it that much.

    You're probably SOL when it comes to Macy's. I don't think a refund is in your future. But if there's a warranty maybe you can send it back to Dooney directly. They might replace it with the same or comparable bag. But it really depends on so many factors. I know my mom has had high end luggage replaced that got damaged but it had a lifetime warranty. But that's through the brand itself, not the store she bought it from. Try calling Dooney and see what they say. Good luck!

    Thanks! I think I am SOL because I never registered it when it once I purchased the bag. Oh well.

    I bought the IT bag when it first came out, and then a couple years later I pulled it out of my closet and it had yellowed. I called D&B directly and they sent me a replacement with no questions asked!

    Definitely give them a call and ask. Since you still have your receipt you might be okay.
