Update...or lack thereof

They checked me at 8 and I had maybe thinned more but was still only 1 cm. they let me shower and eat a light breakfast then are going to start pinto in in 2 hours. I've already had my first  ugly cry after they checked me. It was frustrating to hear...to the point I said I'm ready for you to just get the baby out, but she said. I csection yet (which I knew but my mental state is crappy right now).

 

**she said no to the csection (can't figure out how to go back and correct myself on my iPhone!)

    I kept checking waiting to see an update from you! I'm sorry to hear that things aren't progressing quickly, but I'm sure the pitocin will help with that. Good luck and hang in there. You're little lion will be here before you know it!

    Hang in there lady! Thinking about you and sending all the come on labor and Little Lion vibes I have! Hope the pitocin helps things move much quicker from here on out. I'll have my phone nearby all day in case there are any new updates ;)

    I feel for you!! I've totally been there and I'm do sorry that this is taking so long for you! I know how discouraging no progress can be! Keep your chin up, once my water broke after the first 2 days things moved pretty quick, hopefully the same will be said for you.

    Eh...not too much.  Some tightening/cramping but not enough. The nurse said they might need to use dynamite to get this kid out..lol..great!

    I know I'm late in the game but are you able to do lunges or possibly nipple stimulation? The latter really helped me surprisingly (it did way more than the derail did). Thinking about you and I hope you get to meet your little one very soon!

    Still nothing. They tried to put a foley bulb in but had trouble and then I freaked & wouldn't let them try again so I'm doing another dose of cytotec and they stripped my membranes. I am so spent and they won't entertain the idea of a csection yet.

    Is there any chance they'll let you go home to rest? Maybe after a good night sleep things may start rolling a little easier? I am keeping you in my thoughts, I can imagine how frustrated you're getting with the process.
