**Puppy** shoe question

Are you familiar with the Vince Camuto brand? I love these shoes in deep sea blue, but the only place I can find them anywhere is on the Dillard's website and I'm hesitant to buy them without trying them on. I tried on the "Zella" style in store and they kept slipping off my heels, but these look to be a little higher cut on the sides.

I ended up buying this pair of Nine West shoes in blue. The shape looks much better in real life than in the picture on the website, plus they're actually a little darker. They're comfortable, but I can't tell how the color compares to the first pair.

So, is one brand higher quality than the other? I'm trying to decide if it's worth paying the shipping charge to try on the first pair of shoes or if I should just be happy with what I bought. I can do in-store returns for free for either pair.

Re: **Puppy** shoe question

  • My shoe/fashion knowledge pales in comparison to that of PuppyWuppy, but for what it's worth, I am a Nine West devotee. I generally like the price point and quality of both their shoes and handbags, and their heels are some of the most comfortable I've found. I have persnickety feet - it's rare I find a pair of heels (or even flats) that I can stand, but I haven't had much trouble at all with NW. I'm not sure exactly why that is, I assume it has something to do with the material that lines the shoe, but it's awesome.

  • Adding on to share my love of Nine West. Of the 40 or so pairs of shoes I own, 35 of them are Nine West. They're so comfortable and fit me really well. I just can't rationalize spending more on shoes.
  • Hi there!   I don't own a pair of Nine West or Vince Camuto shoes, but I would just go with the pair that fits you the best - I would order both pairs, shipping charges be d@mned

  • I own a pair of Vince Camuto shoes and I love them.  They are one of the most comfortable pair of heels I own.  Pink Sugar in Edmond carries a small selection of Vince Camuto shoes so they might have the style you like.  When I bought mine, I found them there as well as Dillard's.  I checked Macy's but they only had them online.  I do agree with you though - anymore I'm hesitant to buy anything online without trying it on first unless they've got a good return policy.
  • Thanks all! I had been drooling over the other pair online for a while and it's hard to put them out of my mind, but I think I'll just stick with the pair of shoes that I know is comfortable. The heel is a half-inch lower and I'm not known for my superb high-heel walking ability.  Embarrassed

  • I like Vince Camuto. :) However, I will say that I have actually tried on the pair you posted, and they're pretty tall since there is no platform whatsoever.
