Greetings,

I'm 26, have been married for 6 months and my husband recently passed away battling melanoma. Anyone else out there going through something similar? If so, i'd love to chat.

Hello. I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you must be going through. I'm not in your situation, but stick around. There are some fun girls here (when the board is active) and it might be a nice diversion.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Megan. I am not in the same situation, but know how difficult it can be to lose someone that you are incredibly close to. Like Jessica said, I hope you stick around and can find some support, too.

Im so sorry to hear of your loss. Im sure you are grieving for both your husband (first and foremost) and the life you had planned together. I have no advice but there is a "starting over" board on thenest and maybe there are folks on there in similar situations--even divorcees may share SOME of the same feelings. Give yourself time to be sad and properly deal with your emotions so one day, you can really move on...as much as thats ever possible.

Hey there. I know I am two years late but I am a newlywed to a widow in under a year as well. Got married in October 2011 my husband passed away in May 2012. It really sucks is all I can say. I know you are much further in this "journey" than I am. Does it get easier?
